This is a bit of a different episode of the Creative Introvert… I’m going to share the recording of my recent monthly astrology forecast meetups with you. Already I can here many of you skipping this podcast, I know not everyone will be into this – I’m sharing it for those who are and for those who are maybe a bit astro-curious…
I know before I got the astrology bug, I thought it was complete nonsense… I actually had no idea how diverse the field is, and so even if you think you know what astrology is about, I hope this will give you a taste of the kind of astrology I’m learning, practicing and loving.
So if this is well received, I’ll start playing the recording each month. If it’s not for you, no worries, hopefully you’ll stick around for the other shows – I see it like the Joe Rogan MMA episodes, which I always skip. I still love Rogan, but I’m not going to listen to those fight ones: not for me.
Last thing, if you’re interested in attending the next astro meetup live and the next Creative Moon Circle (next weekend, 5th July) you can! Just visit patreon.com/creativeintro and you’ll see the options to support the show and get access to these events.

We need to discern what works from what doesn’t, what we’re going for and whether or not what we’ve done hits the mark.
It’s built into our genetic code or something. We are discriminating creatures, all living beings are - and when we fail, it can mean the difference between life and death. Naturally it’s a big deal to us.
But "bad" judgement is *really* bad.
Judging whether a line you put down is right or wrong is what makes art better. It makes us better. It’s what gets us closer to the mark, the ideal.
But the fear that creeps up before we’ve even put down the mark, for fear it might be wrong, that’s the kind of judgement that kills our creativity.
That's what I'm going to be tackling in today's episode of The Creative Introvert. I hope you enjoy it!

Today I'm talking with Scott Stroud about how we can use our imagination to unlock our creativity, find meaning and basically feel like we can take on the world.
Scott works with various types of individuals and teams from artists to software developers, managers to medical professionals, and every day normal people navigate their own language and metaphors to get clear about what they want exactly and how to get it. He's also volunteered with the long-term unemployed at a local meal center to help them find purpose using the same techniques. The venture was a success and culminated in some of the attendees leading their own groups at the center.

“Loneliness is as much a reality of life as night and rain and thunder, and it can be lived creatively, as any other experience. So I say, let there be loneliness, for where there is loneliness there is also love, and where there is suffering, there also is joy.”
~ Clark Moustakas
In today's episode I'm going to be taking a deeper dive into the subject of loneliness, and hopefully sharing a new way to look at loneliness, especially if you're a creative introvert.

Why am I talking about dragons? Well... these fearsome creatures have become quite a dominant part of my inner landscape over the past year or so, and I think it's high time they get some recognition through my creative work.
I also feel there's a lot we can learn from our dragon friends, from coping with anxiety to finding your buried creative treasure to feeling more confident and self-assured.
Also, with eclipse season on the horizon, we're entering the mouth of the dragon, whether we want to or not. So, might as well try to prepare.
Along with this episode, I've created a little PDF guide that walks you through the upcoming eclipses, what eclipses actually mean and what to expect over the coming months. If you'd like to grab your free guide, sign up below and you'll be sent to the download page!
