You might have heard of the concept of a Muse before. Even if you haven’t considered it in the way I’ll speak of it today, you’ll have said it: amusement, bemused, museum, music
I argue it’s more than just mere entertainment - we’re speaking about something that captivates us - like a great work of art in a museum or the first time you heard your favourite band live - more of a trance, when we encounter the muse.
Nine journal prompts and an customisable invocation to the Muse, available at thecreativeintrovert.com/muse (nine because the Muses in greek myth were the nine sisters, daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, which means ‘memory.’ Their job was to inspire artists and each Muse was responsible for a different art.)

Today's podcast guest, Azhelle Wade, has worked in the toy industry for over 10 years with companies like Toys R Us, Horizon Group USA, and now Creative Kids, as the VP of Brand and Product. Azhelle launched The Toy Coach when she noticed that too many inventors attend toy shows or pitch meetings with “half baked” ideas that they’d spent too much money on. Her podcast, Making It in The Toy Industry teaches inventors how to keep their toy and game ideas toyetic, cost-effective, and how to answer buyer needs.
We discuss Azhelle's 5-step process to unlocking your ideas, which are game changers whether you're designing toys or anything else for that matter!

This episode of The Creative Introvert has come about from my personal, recent experience with "re-branding" (I also cover why I'm so averse to that word) and the tips I have for you, if you're feeling like you have outgrown your current "brand" and want to give it a refresh.
I've also made a handy dandy little pdf guide to guide you through the steps I share in this episode, as well as a checklist for guiding a website redesign project. Find that at http://thecreativeintrovert.com/rebrand/
